2023 Starting Rosters


Greeting fellow Tot Heads-

It is that time of year again - the time of year when the snow melts, the UCLs come out of hiding, and the Zachs drink 4 beers in 10 minutes and vomit in the downstairs bathroom... ahh sweet spring.

I will be putting up rule change suggestions separately, so if you have any last minute changes you'd like to have the league consider, please send them to me.

This year, the auction will be on the weekend of March 24, 25, and 26 at the Grupe household.  Please note, we have moved since the last time the auction was at my house.   This means you - BOB!  Do no show up at my old house, the people will not let you in.   Let me know if you need my address and I will text it to you.

We have a new human with us this year, Uncle Jimmy's buddy, Cousin Andy.  I don't actually think that Andy is Jim's cousin, in fact, I know he isn't because Jim doesn't have a cousin named Andy, but Cousin Andy felt right, and I'm going to go with it.  The only things I know about Andy are that 1) He knows Jim,  2) He has a kid who plays soccer, or hangs out at kid's soccer events, 3) he clearly grew up in the 90s and 4) he is not Jim's cousin.    For those of you who havent yet seen, Cousin Andy has named his team Base Wars.  One can only assume this is after the 1991 video game by the same title, in which robots of various types with very non-robot names squared off in a mix of Baseball Stars and Mortal Kombat with the hit points and weapon listed on the batter ID block and every tag play is a fight - win and you get the base...this is Tom's dream come true.  Everything about this game kicked all kinds of ass, and therefore, I must assume that Cousin Andy also kicks all kinds of ass.


We are also continuing to look for someone to take Alex's spot this year

In order to get time to have everything set up, I am asking for keepers by 11:59PM on March 10.  These should be texted or emailed to me, and if possible, set on yahoo.   The text/email is more important than the yahoo.   If you do not send them, at 12:00AM on March 11, your roster will turn into the 11 highest paid guys on the team...so don't do that.

I will get the auction grid set up and link that when I do, but I wanted to get this one going in case anyone wants to work on some trades before the 10th!  My team is open for business, inquire within.  No shirt, no shoes, no problem.  No Cold Snacks, big problem.
